CHOICES is an international cooperation project focusing on the development of guidance and counselling in vocational education and training. The project creates common and clear quality criteria and tools to better support VET learners in their career choices and learning pathways. Schools learn from each other, pilot joint methods, and strengthen the quality of their counselling systems.
Main objectives
- to create common and measurable quality indicators for guidance and counselling in VET schools;
- to collect and share best counselling practices from different countries;
- to test the developed criteria using an international peer-review methodology;
- to develop a joint CHOICES web platform for learning materials and training;
- to explore how artificial intelligence can be used in career and learning guidance.
Key activities
- development and analysis of guidance quality indicators;
- mutual evaluations (peer reviews) between participating schools;
- training for teachers and counsellors;
- collection and dissemination of best practices;
- development and testing of the CHOICES digital platform;
- presentation of project results at seminars and in partner schools.
