Kuressaare Ametikool was awarded the Erasmus Accreditation Excellence Label in recognition of the high quality of Erasmus+ mobility in the organisation of the last two mobility projects.

"All of the student and staff who have been abroad to upgrade their skills in recent years, as well as our host partners in a couple of dozen countries, have contributed to this. I would also like to thank the team within the school: the group leaders, the head teachers and other teachers, the people who spread the word about the mobility on the school's website and social media, the financial manager and all the others," said Ave Paaskivi, project manager.

"There are clear rules and frameworks for using EU money. People do not like paperwork, and that sometimes makes things difficult. It's more gratifying to know that we are seen outside the school as being able to cope well with the challenges."

Extract from the feedback on the project report that received maximum points:

"Kuressaare Ametikool is a good example of how international cooperation has been made visible at school level and beyond. The various events and media coverage promoting the Erasmus+ programme ensure a consistent development of international cooperation. Dissemination of the results of this project has also been multifaceted, involving a variety of audiences. The school's website provides more details on the activities carried out and the collection of participants."

The label of excellence was awarded by the Estonian national agency, the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Agency of the Education and Youth Board.

The labels were awarded during a mobility project organised by the Ida-Virumaa Vocational Training Centre.
